1. What MyMetabolism Is

MyMetabolism is a metabolic wellness coaching service. We help people adopt and maintain a ketogenic metabolic lifestyle with human coaches, an app, and (in the US) optional blood-panel testing.

2. FDA / DSHEA Disclaimer

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. MyMetabolism is a metabolic wellness coaching service and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease — including cancer. Our coaching is complementary to, not a substitute for, medical care, cancer treatment, or clinical oncology services. We are not a medical provider, and no client-provider relationship is created through use of this service. Ketogenic metabolic therapy is an emerging, experimental field — please work with your oncologist or healthcare team on all decisions about your nutrition and metabolic health.

3. Cancer-Specific Disclosures

Many of our members are cancer patients, survivors, or individuals at elevated risk. MyMetabolism does not provide cancer treatment and does not claim to extend survival, reduce tumor burden, or otherwise treat any cancer. The research we cite on our landing page is from peer-reviewed early-phase clinical trials — we summarize the published findings and represent them as preliminary and experimental, never as proof of efficacy for MyMetabolism's program.

4. Our Scientific Advisor

Dr. Thomas Seyfried serves as MyMetabolism's scientific advisor. His research informs our coaching framework but does not constitute a clinical endorsement of individual outcomes.

5. Advertising and Retargeting Commitment

We do not use health-related browsing or input data for advertising retargeting. We do not share health data with third-party advertisers. Our analytics events are stripped of cancer-context properties before they are sent to any third party.

This commitment is enforced both as a matter of policy and as a technical control on our website: events related to cancer-aware sections of the site are configured not to carry cancer-context properties to our analytics provider, and we do not load advertising pixels on this site.

6. Testimonials

Where we publish member testimonials we do so under the FTC's 2024 Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule: we select testimonials that reflect a typical coaching experience, never outlier outcomes; we do not publish cancer-outcome testimonials (tumor markers, scan results, survival framing); and each testimonial carries a plain individual-experience disclosure.
